The Body Engineers offers customized personal training in Toronto for all fitness levels. Whether your goal is to eliminate pain, reduce health risks, drop body fat, gain muscle or strength our personal training program will help you get there in the fastest way possible.
How It Works
Personal training starts with an initial consultation where we get to understand your goals, previous injuries, training history and what has stopped you from achieving your goals in the past.
We then put together a plan for you that will best reach your goals. Typically this requires at least 3 months of training at 2 or 3x per week. Progress is tracked monthly with our InBody body composition machine to track body fat and muscle changes.

Investment
Personal training sessions range from $95–$105 plus tax per session depending on your program.
Payments are made every 4 sessions for 1x per week, every 8 sessions for 2x per week and every 12 sessions for 3x per week.

The reality is that everyone needs a personal trainer/coach. Even personal trainers need personal trainers to elevate their education, experience different perspectives/approaches of training, provide a focused training environment and help push them to their limits safely. Personal trainers can help with so many aspects of your health and wellness. Not only do they show you how to exercise correctly for your body type, they also provide nutritional coaching and mindset/habits coaching. It is not just about getting strong physically but also getting strong mentally and a coach can really help you through that process.

This primarily depends on your goals, injury status (if applicable) and training history. In general it takes 1 week to lose 0.5 Ibs of body fat and approximately 2 weeks to increase muscle by 0.5 Ibs if training 3x per week and following a tailored nutrition plan (which we can provide). If you have some old injuries then we will need to spend some time to help you recover from these issues, without pushing you too hard. In addition, it generally takes 4 months to build a lasting habit and so in most cases we recommend training for at least this time.

For all new personal training members, a consultation is required to establish your goals, desired training times, exercise and injury history. Yes we offer 2 on 1 training if you would like to train with your partner or friend. The price is approximately 30% less, per person, compared to 1 on 1 training.

This is a surprisingly common question. No, you will definitely not get yelled at during your personal training sessions at the Body Engineers! Our trainers are very friendly, welcoming and not at all intimidating. They will meet you where you are at and make sure you train at an appropriate intensity, for your experience and skill level, to deliver results.

Each session is one hour long and is spent entirely with your personal trainer.

Yes, you can use the gym outside of personal training sessions. For members on a 2x or 3x per week membership, you can come in during our open gym time slots for no extra cost.
