Personal Trainer & Group Class Instructor Position
At The Body Engineers, we take a science-driven approach to personal training. Our mission is to help clients move better, feel stronger, and achieve optimal body composition results through detailed assessments, expert programming, and personalized coaching. We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Personal Trainer & Group Fitness Instructor to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform in-depth movement assessments to guide program development.
Develop advanced, periodized, and trackable training programs based on Body Engineers’ principles.
Deliver one-on-one and partner personal training sessions.
Lead structured small group classes (maximum 10 participants per session).
Support clients through injury rehabilitation and avoidance while helping them reach body composition goals.
Offer basic nutrition coaching in alignment with client goals.
Assist clients in the rehabilitation of various injuries and dysfunctions whilst also achieving their body composition goals.
Maintain high standards of professionalism, organization, and client engagement.

Type of employment: Permanent Position
Job Type: Part time working up to full-time (1-3 months time period in order to reach 20+ hours per week)

Qualifications and Experience
Required:
Degree or diploma in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field; OR
Advanced personal training certifications (e.g., Poliquin PICP Levels 1–4, RTS Mastery)
Minimum 3–4 years of full-time personal training experience
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and movement mechanics
Proven success in delivering measurable body composition results
Willingness to follow the Body Engineers' training principles
Strong communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills
Ability to lead by example through personal fitness and professionalism
A scientific and growth-oriented mindset
Preferred:
Certification as a Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT) Specialist or equivalent
Experience working with clients recovering from injuries or managing dysfunctions
Additional Requirements:

High level of attention to detail
Committed to ongoing learning and development
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada (Permanent Resident or Citizen (valid work permit holders with at least 2 years remaining are also encouraged to apply)
