Chermanna Pattada - Personal Trainer

Cp's path into this field began while he was working as a Data Scientist at one of the Big Fours, tending to his injuries and chronic aches. The absence of direction and a holistic approach drove him to look for his own path to recovery.

The last thing an athlete wants to hear is the diagnosis that "if you want your legs to be with you till you age well, then you have to stop and stay with walks, easy cycling, and moderate exercise." He carried the diagnosis with him for four years, going through further suffering. With stronger mindset and knees, observing the struggle to look beyond the diagnosis, an unmet need in the community, he shifted his career, feeling the responsibility to share with people that we were not a compartmentalized block of needs. Understanding that no matter how similar the clients’ diagnoses were, their physical and psychosocial state were unique indicating how strengthening and healing was more than just physical.

Now, the most enriching part serving as Coach or a trainer is when he sees his clients’ self-restraining beliefs transform, alleviating years of pain and emotion. Fascinated by these chronic Injury patterns with overbearing psychology, energy and pain perception, led him to pursue his higher studies in Kinesiology.

To not feel rusty has always been his personal intention and inspiration. To be available-whenever needed, physically and mentally, is something he has lived by observing his parents. Being part of the athletic community at school, college, and workplace kept his love for movement, alive. And born in a forest hill town, he is a nature’s bug trekking high altitudes, hiking and running trails. He feels being outdoors drives his character, helps him respect and feel grateful for what he’s provided with. And while serving all the intended roles, he has an inclination for education, and teaching which therefore helps him offer the services to his clients’ not as a workout rather as a Practice for life, one step at a time. He carries a belief to serve and share what he knows and learn what he doesn’t.
